Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis announced the arrest of a man after deputies responded to a homicide in Goose Creek Saturday night.
Nicholas Jermaine Thorn, 44, was arrested and charged with murder.
Just after 9 p.m., deputies responded to a residence in the 100 block of Newell Drive in the Goose Creek area of Berkeley County. Responding deputies located a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and attempted to render aid to the victim. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
Berkeley County Coroner Darnell Hartwell’s office identified the victim as Josheul Allen, 30, from Smoaks.
